New program equips industry leaders to align innovation with federal funding, regulation, and bipartisan strategy.
HYSKY Society today announced the launch of a new executive short course, H2 Aviation Policy & Power: How Innovation Becomes Federal Priority, running April 7–April 23, 2026.
As outlined in the official course overview H2 Aviation Policy & Power, the program is the first comprehensive offering dedicated specifically to federal policy strategy for hydrogen aviation. The three-week course (six live sessions, 12 total hours) is designed for industry leaders, regulators, and innovators working to scale zero-carbon flight in the United States.
Hydrogen aviation is advancing technically across aircraft development, propulsion systems, and infrastructure planning. But engineering alone will not determine the pace of deployment. Federal appropriations, agency priorities, regulatory coordination, and bipartisan positioning will shape whether hydrogen aviation becomes a national priority — or remains on the margins.
This new course provides a structured foundation in how Washington actually works.
Participants in the H2 Aviation Policy & Power course will gain clarity on:
How federal appropriations and budget cycles operate
Which agencies control funding versus regulatory authority
The roles of NASA, FAA, DOE, DoD, DOT, and Congress
How emerging sectors such as advanced air mobility (AAM) and uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) successfully built federal momentum
The difference between lobbying and advocacy — and what organizations are legally permitted to do
When coordinated industry action becomes strategically necessary
The program is designed not only for executives who wish to engage directly in policy efforts, but also for leaders who must make informed decisions about signing letters, joining coalitions, supporting federal initiatives, or allocating company resources.
“Hydrogen aviation will not scale on engineering alone,” said Danielle McLean, Founder and CEO of HYSKY Society. “It requires federal alignment, funding architecture, regulatory coordination, and durable bipartisan strategy. This course gives leaders the literacy to navigate that system responsibly and effectively.”
All sessions will be delivered online via HYSKY Connect and recorded for on-demand access. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from HYSKY Society.
The course runs Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12–2 PM CST, from April 7 through April 23, 2026.
