The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has issued a detailed response to a recent article titled "Private aviation is making a growing contribution to climate change," written by Communications Earth and Environment questioning the sustainability efforts of the business aviation industry. NBAA highlighted the sector’s significant progress in adopting sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), advanced technology, and operational efficiency improvements aimed at reducing carbon emissions.

NBAA emphasized that business aviation remains a leader in implementing sustainable practices, countering claims made in the report. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, supported by its continued advocacy for cleaner fuels, innovative aircraft designs, and operational best practices.
