HySky Society has published the Event Prospectus for Flying Hy 2026, the world's top hydrogen aviation symposium. Now in its fourth year, the event reached more than 600 people in 2025 and returns November 4, 2026, on Zoom. The prospectus gives aviation and energy businesses a detailed look at the speaker lineup, technical agenda and sponsorship opportunities.

The prospectus is available at hysky.org/flyinghy2026. It outlines seven program sessions, presentations from across the sustainable aviation ecosystem, highlights from the 2025 event and sponsorship packages offering varying levels of brand visibility and business development access.

Platinum Sponsor: Unither Bioelectronics, a Subsidiary of United Therapeutics Corporation

Unither Bioelectronics is the Flying Hy 2026 platinum sponsor, returning for the second consecutive year. A wholly owned subsidiary of United Therapeutics Corporation, Unither Bioelectronics, also known as Unither.Aero, is building a fleet of autonomous, hydrogen-electric aircraft to deliver manufactured organs to transplant centers. Mikael Cardinal, VP of Organ Delivery at Unither Bioelectronics, will present “Proticity: Mission Leads, Hydrogen Enables” during the afternoon keynote session.

Flying Hy 2026 Sponsors

Flying Hy 2026 is also supported by a group of sponsors active across the hydrogen aviation ecosystem: Millennium Reign Energy, FC Renew, Dynamasys, Commonwealth Center for Advanced Logistics Systems (CCALS), Viridi, Moreton and Company, Washington State University Tri-Cities, and Ingarra Engineering. Their participation reflects the breadth of organizations investing in hydrogen aviation’s development, from fueling infrastructure and fuel cell technology to university research and engineering services.

Flying Hy 2026 is designed for organizations producing or selling hydrogen, developing aircraft and propulsion systems, advancing fuel cell technologies, supporting airport modernization or investing in sustainable aviation. Its program also addresses battery-electric eVTOL aircraft, sustainable aviation fuel, long-endurance aircraft and technologies relevant to drones and other emerging platforms.

"Flying Hy puts those conversations in one place," said Danielle McLean, Founder, Executive Director, and President of HySky Society. "We published this prospectus so companies can see where they fit, who they can learn from and how they can participate in building the next chapter of aviation."

What to Expect at the 2026 Hydrogen Aviation Symposium

The newly published prospectus gives prospective attendees and sponsors a practical way to evaluate the event before committing their time or resources. Readers can review presentation topics, identify speakers relevant to their business and compare sponsorship benefits against their marketing and partnership objectives.

The opening keynote session features Catherine Wen and Jamie Munoz, co-founders of Holding Pattern Co., presenting "Get Hype About Hydrogen," followed by Christine Ourmières-Widener, CEO and chair of the board at ZeroAvia, presenting on ZeroAvia's roadmap for navigating a challenging development environment.

Session 2 brings together Dr. Phil Elliott, R&D Manager for Aircraft at MOOG, presenting on electric actuation and power systems for hydrogen aircraft; Helen Leadbetter, Zero Emissions Flight Lead at the Civil Aviation Authority, on the UK CAA Hydrogen Challenge; Irwin Kerboriou, Lead H2 Airport Operations Manager at Beyond Aero, on preparing airports for hydrogen operations; Dr. Josef Kallo, founder and chief technology officer of H2FLY, delivering a hydrogen-electric flight status update; and Mark Husband, Team Leader for Electrical Power Networks at GKN, on electrical power networks for hydrogen-electric aircraft.

Session 3 features Dr. Eva Maleviti, Professor and Program Coordinator at Embry-Riddle, presenting a sustainability impact assessment of battery-electric eVTOL aircraft; Chase Carver, Technology Leader at GE Aviation's Unison Electrical division, on technologies enabling hydrogen flight; Joshua Heyne, Professor at Washington State University, on sustainable aviation fuel qualification and the commercial use of renewable carbon; and Michael Schilling, Managing Director and Head of Hydrogen and Space Programs at Test-Fuchs, on accelerating liquid hydrogen innovation across air and ground operations.

The afternoon keynote session also includes Dr. Martin Chan, Hydrogen Lead at Joby Aviation, on estimating remaining liquid hydrogen fuel in aircraft tanks; Eloa Guillotin, CEO of Beyond Aero, on designing a hydrogen-electric light jet for 2030 service entry; Chris McWhinney, Founder and CEO of Millennium Reign Energy, presenting "The BIG VISION"; and Dr. Anita Sengupta, Founder and CEO of Hydroplane, on hydrogen-powered rotorcraft.

The virtual format allows professionals across regions to participate without arranging travel. The published agenda begins at 8:00 a.m. Central Time, with closing remarks at 6:05 p.m. Speakers and programming are subject to change.

Liquid Hydrogen, Hydrogen Fueling Infrastructure and Long-Endurance Flight

A dedicated session on liquid hydrogen and long endurance examines storage, fueling and aircraft system questions that are increasingly relevant to developers and infrastructure providers.

Matt Moran, Subject Matter Expert at Sierra Lobo, will present on liquid hydrogen pressure response to sloshing. Jared Semik, Founder and CEO of Eternium Aerospace, will address energy resilience. Philip Stuckey, Founder and CEO of FC Renew, will discuss fuel cell durability and reuse for aviation. Paul Gloyer, President of Gloyer-Taylor Laboratories, will present a long-endurance liquid hydrogen aircraft development update. Barry Prince, Vice President of Hydrogen at FABRUM, will discuss lightweight liquid hydrogen fuel systems for aircraft. Ben Emerson, Assistant Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, will examine hydrogen as an aviation fuel. Cullen Hall, VP of Product Development at Gen H2, will address reducing liquid hydrogen losses across the aviation fuel pathway.

Session 6 features Serge Markoff, Founder and CEO of Sea Cheetah, on wing-in-ground-effect vessels scaling toward 800 km range; Sara Mitran, CEO of Nathe MC, on dilutive and non-dilutive hydrogen funding; and Tsion Abreha, Aerospace Engineer at HySky Society, presenting "Aviation's Unseen Burden."

The final session features Dr. Jacob Leachman, Professor at Washington State University, on cryogenic hydrogen storage and handling for aviation; Bobby Noble, Senior Program Manager for Gas Turbine and Emerging Fuels R&D at EPRI, on hydrogen and power generation; and Dr. Nick Ingarra, President of Ingarra Engineering, on why hybrid solutions are needed.

How the Hydrogen Aviation Symposium Has Grown

The prospectus includes a review of Flying Hy 2025, reporting 603 participants across live attendance and recording viewership: 289 attended live and 314 watched the recording.

That retrospective highlights work in aircraft development, smaller platforms, hydrogen infrastructure, policy, research and funding. It provides context for the 2026 program and shows the range of organizations that participated in last year's discussions.

For prospective sponsors, the distinction between live participation and recording viewership offers a clearer picture of the previous event's reach. For attendees, the review provides background on the projects and technical questions that shaped last year's presentations.

Sponsor the World's Top Hydrogen Aviation Event

The prospectus details sponsorship opportunities for businesses seeking visibility among the event's anticipated audience of more than 300 attendees. Packages combine event participation with promotional benefits, allowing organizations to select a level suited to their business objectives.

Sponsorship packages range from $500 to $5,000 and include options for session sponsorship, attendee list access, advertising during the event and logo placement. The $250 Level 1 package is sold out. Full details on remaining packages and current availability are in the prospectus at hysky.org/flyinghy2026.
