HOUSTON, TX — In a bold move to break the legislative gridlock stalling zero-emission flight, HYSKY Society announced its mission to mobilize a high-impact "swarm" of industry experts, engineers, and entrepreneurs to descend on Capitol Hill. The goal: to cement hydrogen as a permanent federal priority and ensure the infrastructure for a zero-emission future is built today, not decades from now.
“The technology is ready, but the policy is lagging,” said Danielle McLean, Founder & CEO of HYSKY Society. “We are deploying a swarm of H2 Advocates through our Hydrogen Aviation Policy & Advocacy course/cohort who know how to navigate the 'policy cockpit' and secure the funding, infrastructure, and regulations our industry needs to survive. If we want to change the world, we have to change the rules, and this course is where that work begins.”
Why You Must Be Part of the Swarm
The window to influence the next decade of aviation policy is closing. To move the needle, the industry needs more than just engineers; it needs a coordinated, technical strike force. Here is why industry leaders are enlisting in this movement:
Defending Long-Range, High-Endurance Drone Flights
While battery-electric flight dominates the headlines, hydrogen is the only fuel capable of delivering the long-range, high-endurance missions required for commercial aviation and heavy-payload UAVs. As part of the swarm, you will be the voice that explains this technical reality to policymakers, ensuring federal R&D stays focused on high-impact hydrogen solutions.
Engineering the Hydrogen Aviation Ecosystem
Advocacy doesn't stop at the aircraft. We are fighting for a complete hydrogen aviation ecosystem. This means a bipartisan strategy to fund liquid hydrogen (LH2) airport infrastructure, multi-modal fuel hubs, and the grid-level shifts required to support 21st-century flight. Without your seat at the table, these infrastructure priorities risk being sidelined.
Executing a Strategic Strike on Capitol Hill
This is not a simulation. The mission culminates in a Virtual Fly-In capstone project where you will conduct live, scheduled meetings with Congressional offices. You will walk away with the H2 Advocate badge—a credential that proves you have the rare ability to bridge the gap between breakthrough technology and federal legislative action.
Access to the Permanent Advocacy Space
The work doesn't stop when the meetings end. By joining the swarm, you gain permanent access to a dedicated advocacy space on HYSKY Connect. This is our permanent "war room"—a community where industry leaders share real-time outcomes, coordinate follow-up strategies, and sustain industry momentum long after the initial push.
Join the Mission
The deployment begins April 14, 2026. Professionals ready to join the swarm and lead the charge for hydrogen aviation can enlist now at https://connect.hysky.org/spaces/23127289/page
