The Gulf Coast Hydrogen Hub has officially launched, marking a major milestone in the region’s clean energy transformation. With $1.2 billion in funding from the U.S. Department of Energy and regional partners, the hub aims to accelerate the adoption of hydrogen technologies and position the Gulf Coast as a leader in sustainable energy solutions.



Focused on decarbonizing industrial sectors and fostering economic growth, the hub will facilitate partnerships and investments to scale hydrogen production, storage, and utilization. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to meet net-zero goals and enhance energy security.
