Cabada INSAT program will support Harbour Air’s efforts to electrify the DHC-2 Beaver seaplane.

The Canadian government has announced substantial funding to support the development of electric and hydrogen propulsion technologies, a move aimed at accelerating sustainable aviation innovation. The initiative aligns with Canada’s climate targets by focusing on reducing carbon emissions in the aviation sector through advanced propulsion research and development.

The funding will facilitate collaborations between Canadian industry leaders, researchers, and technology providers to explore viable hydrogen and electric power solutions for commercial aviation. This initiative underscores Canada’s commitment to sustainable aviation and its role in driving the future of zero-emission flight technology.
