Driving Innovation in e-SAF
Norsk e-Fuel CEO Karl Hauptmeier and Boeing’s Maria Laine, President for the UK, Ireland, and Nordics, emphasized the significance of the collaboration during the signing ceremony. Norsk e-Fuel is leveraging green hydrogen as a core element in the production of e-SAF, addressing aviation's carbon footprint by developing cutting-edge solutions. “The investment is being directed towards the project development of projects in our pipeline,” said a Norsk e-Fuel spokeswoman.
This partnership highlights Boeing’s broader strategy to meet global sustainability standards and scale the availability of cleaner aviation fuels. The initiative reinforces Boeing’s alignment with the EU’s ambitious goals for reducing aviation emissions through the adoption of SAF technologies.
