Today, we celebrate the ninth annual National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day, recognized by the U.S. Congress and supported by key organizations like ARCHES. This special day highlights the immense benefits of hydrogen energy and fuel cell technologies in reducing emissions, driving economic growth, and contributing to a healthier environment.

“Hydrogen and fuel cell technology are key to tackling the climate crisis,” said Congressman Jim Costa, one of the key leaders behind the bipartisan resolution recognizing this day.

As California works toward its ambitious climate goals, hydrogen solutions, championed by organizations like ARCHES, will play a crucial role. ARCHES is proud to be part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s H2Hubs initiative, one of the largest investments in clean manufacturing and jobs in U.S. history. Together with six other H2Hubs across America, this initiative aims to eliminate 25 million metric tons of CO2 emissions each year – equivalent to taking over 5.5 million gasoline-powered cars off the road.

By embracing hydrogen as a clean energy source, we are paving the way for a sustainable future, ensuring cleaner air, innovative growth, and new opportunities across industries. Happy Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day from ARCHES and everyone committed to a cleaner planet!
