Hydrogen Aviation Isn't Coming.
It's Already Here.

EARLY REVEAL:
FLYING HY SPEAKERS

josef kallo of h2fly

Josef Kallo

H2FLY

FOUNDER AND CEO

In 2015, Professor Dr. Josef Kallo founded H2FLY with the aim of progressing hydrogen fuel cell technology to a point where it becomes a viable alternative for everyday commercial aviation. Under his leadership, H2FLY developed the HY4 flying testbed, a unique aircraft modified for hydrogen power. Kallo's vision and determination have been central to H2FLY's success, leading to groundbreaking achievements such as the HY4's record altitude and the first hydrogen-powered flight between major airports.

Kallo's approach to hydrogen aviation is marked by realism and innovation. He recognizes the challenges of hydrogen-fueled flight and the complexities of the test and approval process. Yet, his philosophy emphasizes his conviction that hydrogen is the ideal sustainable fuel source for aviation. He bs an entirely new aircraft, focusing on hydrogen storage, fuel handling, cooling systems, and power model development. His leadership and vision continue to guide H2FLY's pioneering efforts in the field.
