The Hydrogen Fire Safety Short Course provides a comprehensive foundation in the hazards, standards, and emergency practices required for safely integrating hydrogen into aviation. This program, offered by HYSKY Society, covers hydrogen’s unique fire properties, codes and standards, detection and suppression technologies, firefighting practices, and emergency response. Designed specifically for industry professionals, this course equips students with essential knowledge to mitigate fire risks across hydrogen aviation systems, ensuring safety in integrating hydrogen into aircraft and airports.

 

This training is essential for aircraft developers, safety engineers, regulators, airport firefighters, hydrogen producers, fueling operators, MRO professionals, and anyone preparing for the safe integration of hydrogen into aviation.

At the conclusion of this short course, students will be able to:

  • Apply NFPA, ISO, SAE, and ICAO codes to hydrogen aviation fire safety.

  • Integrate hydrogen safety into aircraft, hangars, and airport operations.
